This listing is for the Bernina Multi Spool Thread Stand. This item is new and fits most of the Bernina machines.  Great deal on price, retail now is 9.00.
The instructions indicate that there is a special screwdriver to attach the extendable metal tube to the base, but this is not included in the kit.  It is a #20 Torx screwdriver or allen wrench, which actually comes with the Bernina Sewing Machines.

The BERNINA multiple spool holder is the ideal accessory for sewing and embroidering with several spools of thread. Our video tutorial shows how to use it on the example 7 series machine. You will learn step-by-step instructions on how to secure the multiple spool holder to your BERNINA with the help of an adapter and what to look for in order to check that it is securely mounted. Mounting can be done in a few quick steps and you will be able to start your sewing project in no time. The combination of the multiple spool holder and extension are particularly flexible, so you can use multiple spools of thread without having to switch between them.
Rather than have all your spools of thread all over the place, keep the entire color range of your chosen embroidery design at hand. For special sewing, quilting and embroidery projects. It's suitable for Bernina 165, 170, 180, 185 & 200, 'Plus' all Aurora & current Artista models.  It fits the 830, 820, 880.  It also fits new 5 and 7 series machines with the adapter seen in above picture.  All adapters are included so that it can be used on 2 different style machines, i.e. B200E or B750.
