Brake Cable Kit to install a front and rear brake for vintage road bike.
This is a CUT-TO-FIT kit. Be sure you have good quality STEEL cable cutters.
Here is what you get:
7 feet of lined cable housing in
CLEAR (steel inner core showing through clear plastic).
This is plenty of housing for both a front and rear brake *if* you measure carefully before cutting.
4 nickel plated brass cable housing ferrules (NOT cheap steel ones that can rust)
2 aluminum old school-style brake lever ferrules (also known as end buttons)
2 brake cable with one normal barrel knarp (for BMX and MTB) and the other end a road bike knarp. This cable is 1.5mm X 3070mm (121") and is actually long enough to cut in half and have 2 road bike brake cables and 2 MTB/BMX brake cables.

IMPORTANT: There is no substitute for MEASURING your bike before ordering. While there are some rule of thumb standard for bikes from a specific era, there are no absolutes. Save yourself time and money and MEASURE first, order once.
