G Scale AristoCraft RS-3. Runs well. 1st generation..
DRGW. D&RGW. Denver and Rio Grande Western.
Condition is "Used".
I am listing an RS-3, #5205, 1st generation with  broken handrail stanchions
and missing the right side cab handrails and stanchions.
The safety handrail at the front platform is missing.
The wheels are worn but clean.
Aristocracy plastic couplers. The front coupler needs reinstalling.
Dusty.
The lights worked.
The smoke unit is easily detached and reattached.
There is not a control panel on the roof.
The roof detail is complete.
It has a sound system that barely works. Lots of static and weak whistles.
The ontrols for the sound are onthe front of the fuel tank.
The switches are "on and off" and "volume comtrol".
There are two reed switches mounted on the fuel tank under the diesel. These switches activate the whistle function by magnets that are burried under the track.
It runs nicely foreward and backwards.
I am sure it needs some TLC such as a relubrication of the moving parts in the trucks.
I am sure that I didn't give a 100% description of this engine, but I explained and noted the ones that I saw.
No storage box.
It will be packed well.
