    Description

RARE 1971 Marlboro 300 Trenton Miller High Life Ron Burton Framed Print Artwork. Winner Bobby Unser #2 Faux Wood Plastic Frame Approx. 28 x 22 inches. Nice Vintage Pre Owned Condition with dust (did not clean as I didn't want to damage). The work captures the start of the 1971 Marlboro 300, held at the 1.5 mile Trenton Speedway. It has the cars taking the green flag at the start of the race, with Bobby Unser (the eventual race winner) leading the field with Mark Donohue, Steve Krisiloff, Al Unser, Gary Bettenhausen and the rest of the field following behind. Ron Burton artwork commissioned by the Miller Brewing Company which was used in their advertising campaign for their Miller High Life beers. Copies of this original work were produced in poster format with Miller advertising overlaid and mounted into faux wood plastic frames and sent out only to bars, clubs, and stores countrywide. These framed posters are now highly collectible. This piece of artwork would look fabulous hanging in your collection and/or man cave!
